SMC Radar
Institutional flow detection using Smart Money Concepts across multiple timeframes
Institutional Flow Detection Engine
Smart Money Concepts (SMC) is the framework professional traders use to understand how institutions move markets. Instead of lagging indicators, SMC reads the actual footprint institutions leave on price charts — structural breaks, liquidity grabs, and order zones.
What It Detects
- Break of Structure (BOS) — Price breaks a key swing point in the direction of the trend, confirming continuation
- Change of Character (CHoCH) — The first break against the current trend, signaling a potential reversal before most traders see it
- Order Blocks — The exact zones where institutions placed their last orders before a displacement move. Price often returns to these zones before continuing
- Fair Value Gaps (FVG) — Three-candle imbalances that show where price moved too fast. Institutions tend to fill these gaps
- Liquidity Sweeps — Stop hunts where price briefly exceeds a key level to grab liquidity, then reverses sharply
- Displacement Candles — Large-body, minimal-wick candles showing raw institutional momentum
Multi-Timeframe Scoring (100 Points)
Every signal is scored across multiple dimensions:
- Higher Timeframe Alignment (25 pts) — Does the signal match the trend on 1H, 3H, and Daily?
- Structure Confirmed (25 pts) — CHoCH scores highest, BOS confirms the move
- Liquidity Swept (20 pts) — Was stop-loss liquidity grabbed before the move?
- Price at Point of Interest (20 pts) — Is price at an Order Block or Fair Value Gap?
- Volume Confirmation (10 pts) — Is volume spiking to confirm institutional participation?
Signal Types
- SMC_SETUP (Primary) — Full multi-timeframe setup with score ≥ 60. Includes entry zone, stop loss, and two profit targets
- SMC_BOS — Structure break signals for trend confirmation
- SMC_LIQUIDITY_SWEEP — Detected stop hunts at key levels
- SMC_ORDER_BLOCK — Price touching institutional zones

Every SMC_SETUP signal comes with:
- Entry zone (based on Order Block or FVG)
- Stop loss (below/above the institutional zone)
